Breast biopsies are performed to gain a diagnosis. If the sample is benign, this completes the management of the breast with exception of future surveillance. If a diagnosis confirms a cancer, management with either lumpectomy (breast conservation) versus mastectomy is discussed in detail with each patient.
If you have found a suspicious growth in your breast tissue, do not panic. Contact our office to get help to determine the nature of the growth and proceeding from there. We help residents of Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, Anna Maria, Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach, Longboat Key, Palmetto, North Port, Englewood, Parrish, Arcadia, and Ellenton, Florida.
